GERI STONE MEMORIAL FUND GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM

The Geri Stone Memorial Fund was established by The Reading Recovery Council of Michigan, family members, and friends to remember the leadership of Geri Stone. Geri was an active leader and a major advocate for Reading Recovery and this fund provides financial awards to help continue her work and RRCNA’s vision “we open doors to a literate future for children who initially struggle in learning to read and write.”

Amount:

$500-$750

Awarded to:

Reading Recovery teachers, teacher leaders, trainers; Reading Recovery school systems and administrators. 

Awarded for:

Training new Reading Recovery teachers;  Professional development for Reading Recovery teachers; National Reading Recovery & K-6 Classroom Literacy Conference; Reading Recovery Council of Michigan Institute; Reading Recovery teachers and/or administrators who need funding to assist with early literacy advocacy, research, and evaluation.

Application must be postmarked by: September 15
