As a school administrator, it is crucial that I
keep up on the latest learning trends with my teachers. Otherwise,
how can I support them?
This was my first time to attend the conference. As a school
administrator, I was impressed with the efforts made to reduce the
cost for attendees: one meal included in the registration for each
day of attendance, reasonable registration fee, access to conference
from many hotels without requiring a shuttle. It was a great
learning experience, and I will attend again.
This was my first National Conference. I found it to be very
helpful and have brought back relevant information.
I truly enjoyed attending all the sessions that I went to. I wish
that I could have gone to more but I know that time didn't permit
me. I felt what I have learned will allow me to better help the

High quality of the professional development and
ability to network with others
This was an opportunity to bring other teachers with me to this
Reading event. We were all able to gain knowledge and build our
relationships.
This conference allowed us to choose a specific focus. We were
able to attend different sessions with our "focus goal" in mind and
discuss commonalities.
I love the high quality speakers and presentations tremendously, I
will continue to attend.

able to get great materials for K-6!

Recovery.
I attend because the timing of the conference comes at a time when
I need recharging so that I'm not stuck in a routine when it comes
to the children and what they need.
I love attending the conference to increase my professional
learning and to collaborate with other teachers across the US about
teaching strategies and students. I also loved the fact that there
were some authors available to meet and talk to. I like buying books
that I can have the author sign personally.
There are very few conferences that meet my professional
development needs like the National RR conference.
This was my first time at the Conference and it was as amazing as
I thought it would be!
The speakers and presenters were very informative and
inspirational! I left the conference with better strategies and a
